Adobe InDesign - Introduction Course

Not only is InDesign a state-of-the-art layout program it is the current industry standard. Design any document format from single page posters and flyers, to complex multi-page colour publications. In this course you will learn the basics of creating layouts with InDesign.

Prerequisites: Before enrolling in this course, participants should possess basic computer skills including mouse operation, creating folders, creating files and saving files into folders; and some experience with browsing the internet. We offer a basic computer skills course if you require acquisition of these skills.

Objectives:


In this course, you will:

 

  • explore InDesign's application environment of menus, panels, tools and navigational cues
  • create, place and manipulate text
  • create, place and manipulate graphic objects
  • place and manipulate graphics

  • Basic computer skills
