Sharepoint - Introduction to Nintex Workflow


This course describes Nintex workflows and how they are used in SharePoint, including common functionality and use cases. Students will have their own SharePoint site where they will create and configure a site and list workflow.

Target Audience:

  • SharePoint site owners and developers
  • U of S Employees who want to learn how to use SharePoint workflows 

If you have no SharePoint experience, consider taking the Intro to SharePoint course
 or the two-day SharePoint 2013 for Site Owners course

Resources: A SharePoint site will be set up for you to use for this course. This site will remain available to you so you can continue to practice SharePoint site configuration after the course is complete.


In this course, participants will: 

  • Discover different workflow types and standard use cases
  • Configure a site to enable Nintex Workflow 
  • Create list and site workflows  
  • Add actions to workflows using the Nintex workflow designer interface
  • Configure workflows to start manually, by a list event, and on a schedule
  • View workflow history to debug or retrieve information about a workflow instance
